I’m a big believer that style goes beyond what we wear. It’s what we choose to surround ourselves with, and how we put our own personal stamp on our lives – from our handwriting to our homes. When it comes to actually defining that style and putting it together in a coherent way, it can be difficult. After all, we live in our own heads day in day out – we often take for granted what it is that makes us special and, well, us. With social media, defining our tastes has gotten easier. (Pinterest has been a life changer for me) But suddenly there’s too much choice. Too much possibility. Too many people we could be on any particular day. And no real direction on how to take a style and make it liveable; how to adapt it to suit our lives and the lives we want to build for our families.
Through this website, my goal is to help you find your style, and then figure out how to make it work for you. Because style should never dictate what we do or how we live our lives; it should make everything about what we do even better.
As I’m getting this off the ground and juggling a full time job, please bear with me. I’ll do my best to be around when you need me. But in the mean time, while I get content up and running and learn the ins and outs of blogging, there may be some kinks to work out along the way.
Because this blog will ultimately be all about you, I thought I’d start off with a little poll, just to get the conversation going. Enjoy!
