Beautiful Bridport

As I mentioned in my Saturday post, we spent the weekend in Dorset at the wedding of two of our closest friends. The time disappeared, but not before the little town of Bridport left a very strong impression on us. With such stunning scenery and a charming place as our home base, we immediately understood why they considered this part of the world so special.

Here’s a few snaps from our little adventure to the ocean (5 minutes drive from Bridport) – definitely worth checking out if you need a nice London getaway!

  1. Gorgeous! Sounds like a wonderful weekend; I’m glad you got a short getaway!

  2. What a great picture of the stones on the beach. Would that be a good picture to expand and hang on your long hallway? (The stones remind me of the stones we collected in Verona, Italy.)

  3. Did you get to see St. Mary’s church in Bridport? It dates to the 13th century. Looks really pretty but of course we still are in love with the ancient buildings you see all the time.
