London Craft Week

Happy Friday everyone! Hopefully the week has been kind to you. Just thought I’d share a very exciting event in May – the second annual London Craft Week. If you follow me on Instagram, you may already know what this post is about.

If you’re in the city and want to meet some of the best artisans and creative thinkers in the world, then I would head over to the website and check out the programme. It’s impressive. From 3-7 May, the best brands and makers in the city will be opening their doors to the public to inspire, teach, and tempt you with their latest season of goodies. Want to learn how to make a candle? Rachel Vosper will guide you through the process. Fancy a bit of letterpressing? The guys at New North are hosting a series of demonstrations at their studio. Chanel are running a very select set of olfactory workshops to teach you about the making of their signature perfume, No. 5. (I’m booked in and can’t wait) and Craft Central will be celebrating the amazing design makers who often fly under the radar. That honestly is just a tiny rundown of what’s on during the week. If only one of the names in the list above rings a bell, I would start googling. These people (and many others featured over the course of the week) are the visionaries we have to thank for the trends popping up around us. Their dedication to craft and creativity certainly deserves celebration.

Spaces are limited, and sometimes come at a fee, but the experiences on offer are one of a kind. Have a browse and get booking – hope to see you there!

Wishing you all a great weekend. It’s my birthday, so I will be unplugging and focussing 100% on family, friends, bubbles, and cake. Always cake. Thanks for following along!
