Just stopping by with a quick little post to share a discovery I made today. One of my favourite fashion labels, A.P.C., makes candles. The scents are intensely beautiful, warm and rich, and the branding is perfectly understated.
My favourite scent – Bougie No.3 Toumbac – was sold out at their Shoreditch shop, so I’m now on the hunt for this and might just order it online. For some reason in the winter I adore rich tobacco-inspired fragrances for the home. It feels like a nice alternative to actually having a fire in the fireplace, and this one was the perfect mix of smokiness with a hint of sweet. Bougie No.4 Fleur D’Oranger was also gorgeous, but one I’d be more likely to burn in spring or summer.
I’m a massive fan of Diptyque candles, but these might have just hopped to the top of my home indulgence list. Hope everyone is having a good week and isn’t too bummed about being back at work. Check back tomorrow for a post on the new Aram shop. Spoiler – it’s gorgeous.
