Back online with KAKKOii Pantone Speakers

Hi all! Thanks for bearing with me the last few weeks. This is the first time I’ve had my hands free for more than 15 minutes and not needed to sleep, eat, shower, write long overdue thank you cards, or just move and stretch to get the blood flow back into my top half again.

I’ve got lots of content that I need to pull together – including all my finds at Design Junction, and our newborn photo shoot with Custard Cream Photography. But I thought I’d start with these fab little speakers from KAKKOii.

They caught my eye as I was wandering around Design Junction, and I can’t wait to try them out. I love having music on during the day and often opt for it instead of the tv to keep me company – especially now that I’m home with our little girl. If she’s fussing at all, she seems to calm down when we put on a chilled out playlist. We have a Bose dock in our living room, which we really like but it poses two challenges: it’s not portable, and not compatible with our iPhone 5 (we bought it before they switched the power supply). So when I’m not in the front room, I resort to just having my iPhone on as loud as it can go, which doesn’t do much for sound quality or my phone battery.

These speakers look like the perfect solution for the rest of our house. I love the Pantone collaboration, the shape, the size (they fit in the palm of your hand) and the sound quality was great when I tested it out in person. If you want to learn more, keep your eye on KAKKOii – they’re not available just yet, but will be soon.

Thanks again for being patient as I find my feet in mommy-hood. It’s good to be back!
